Blogger, Francesca Holinko, is a garden writer, horticulturist, landscape and garden designer, and professional gardener. She trained at the New York Botanical Garden at the School of Professional Horticulture and at Boston Architectural College.  She is a member of Garden Communicators International (formerly the Garden Writers Association) and the Ecological Landscape Alliance.  She is also a member of the Committee on Public Planting in the City of Cambridge, MA.

Francesca is passionate about sharing her knowledge of plants, trees, gardening, proper care of plants, garden design and all things botanical.

Francesca also is the owner of Leaf-Light Design Studio which specializes in garden and landscape design.

In her free time, Francesca enjoys botanical illustration.
