Snow Crocus
The Snow Crocus (Crocus chrysanthus) is a tiny golden-yellow flowering bulb in the late winter garden landscape. It is often overlooked in favor of the ubiquitous, later-blooming purple and white crocuses. The snow crocus presents a lovely surprise poking through the late-winter snow cover. You will see them blooming around the same time as snow drops.
Make a note: Keep the snow crocus in mind when ordering bulbs for fall planting. They will look great naturalized near snow drops.
